As a nurse administrator I use HWA to ensure my staff’s productivity, documentation levels, and outcomes are all within the specifications set by my organization or consent decree.

As a compliance officer within my organization, I use HWA to quickly validate that documentation and healthcare processes remain in compliance with the organizations policies and procedures, as well as those of our consent decree. I can rapidly spot deviations and investigate the underlying cause. Once I have found the cause I can take action to ensure the changes necessary to regain compliance.

My job is to ensure continuous quality improvement, and HWA is my best tool. It allows me to pull together data from disparate systems within our organization and see interactions among the data that would otherwise escape notice. This allows me to validate and improve our programs’ outcomes and efficiency.

I use HWA to measure and monitor our healthcare vendor’s compliance levels. We used to argue about liquidated damages and how they were calculated and what amount is due. Using HWA I can help them proactively avoid damages altogether. This saves them money, and greatly improves the quality of care our patients receive.
